Duncan Cover-Coat Opaque Underglaze colors are applied directly to greenware, soft fired bisque or bisque.  Cover-Coats fire to an opaque, porous matte finish.  A glaze finish is used to seal the porous surface, intensify and show the true underglaze colors.

Duncan Red-Coat Opaque Underglazes produce intense, opaque reds when fired under GL611 Ultraclear or GL612 Diamond Clear Glaze.
