Mayco Foundations Sheer Glazes

Mayco Foundations Sheer glazes add a tint of color to your work allowing surface textures or design to show through.  They can be intermixed for customized colors.  Foundations glaze dries quickly allowing you to do additional decorating and same day firing!  Foundations can be applied to leatherhard clay, just allow an open area for out-gassing to escape during the firing process.  Many of the Foundations glazes can be fired to higher temperature without the loss of color.  Testing is recommended prior to a higher temperature firing.  The glazes are non-toxic and food safe.  Foundations glazes are designed to mature at shelf cone 06/05.  Apply 2-3 coats, allowing surface to dry between coats.
